ADMISSIONS

This is to notify the general public that admission into College of Nursing Sciences for 2025/2026 Academic Session is ongoing for the following programmes;

• COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCE

Procedure for Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) is as follows:-

1. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 JAMB
   1. Candidate should have a minimum of credit pass in the under-listed subjects in not more than two sittings at O/level, WAEC and NECO.
   • Mathematics , English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
2. Candidates are to proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited center to effect their change of institution to School of Nursing if ISTH College of Nursing was not first your first choice , ISTH, Irrua.
3. Upon admission, go to Jamb caps, pay the required fee and print your admission letter.     

ADMISSION INTO SCHOOL OF POST BASIC NURSING (SPBN)

Application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into SPBN, ISTH for the year 2025/2026 academic session for the following courses:

• Diploma in Opthalmic Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Perioperative Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Paediatric Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Accident and Emergency Nursing and Management
• Diploma in Gerontology Nursing.

Entry qualifications

Applicants should:

1. Possess five (5) credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/GCE O, Levels, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
2. Be a qualified nurse duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
3. Have at least one year of post-registration clinical experience in the relevant area.
